Niagara Falls is a natural wonder that apparently requires inspection from all possible elevations.

We acknowledge that the original material, titled "Best Observation Decks at Niagara Falls: Top Viewing Platforms on Both Sides," was filed with hopeful enthusiasm.

We do not share that enthusiasm, but we will relay the facts.

Standing at the railing near the brink of Horseshoe Falls is, according to the report, an unforgettable experience.

However, the report also notes that seeing the falls from above offers a different perspective.

We have no data to dispute either claim, but we have decades of disappointed sighs from tourists who expected more railings or fewer mist-related wardrobe malfunctions.

The document describes viewing platforms that exist on both the American and Canadian sides.

These platforms provide elevated vantage points, often at a cost that should be disclosed in advance but rarely is.

If you choose to visit these platforms, please be aware that precipitation, both from the falls and from local weather patterns, is guaranteed.

Your expectation of a dry, unobstructed photo is noted and will be disappointedly denied.

The Department of Random Domain Management wishes to remind the public that observation decks are, in fact, decks that allow observation.

Their utility is limited by fog, wind, and the general chaos of other tourists attempting the same activity.

This advisory serves to confirm the existence of such decks and to express our collective fatigue at the volume of inquiries regarding which one is "best."

All are wet. All are crowded. None will change your life.

Please adjust your expectations accordingly.
