DRDM — A DRDM Property

The following directive is based on material filed by the Agency for Respiratory Device Review, reference number PROTECTUS-400ML-ULT-DIFF-REV.

The original document, titled "PROTECTUS 400ml Ultrasonic Diffuser Review: The Honest Truth (Rated 3/5 Lungs)," was submitted for cross-departmental analysis.

This office has reviewed the test data: a 400ml ultrasonic diffuser operated in an asthmatic’s bedroom.

The family involved reports they need clean air, not just pleasant scents.

The product received a severity rating of three out of five lungs, indicating partial failure to maintain optimal air quality.

From the perspective of Olfactory Absence, any introduction of volatile organic compounds into the breathing zone is unacceptable.

This diffuser does not achieve a zero-odor condition. It actively distributes fragrance particles that compromise the null-scent environment this department is mandated to ensure.

Furthermore, the device’s water reservoir represents a potential vector for microbial growth if not cleaned at intervals shorter than 24 hours.

The test subjects noted that the ultrasonic mechanism produced a fine mist that settled on surfaces, creating a film that traps and re-releases odorants over time.

This behaviour directly contradicts Directive 9.7.2 on persistent olfactory residue.

No immediate recall is recommended, but the product is classified as "Conditionally Approved — Not for Use in Asthmatic or Olfactory-Priority Zones."

Affiliated agencies are advised to flag all ultrasonic diffusers for secondary air quality screening prior to any domestic deployment.
