DRDM — A DRDM Property

This document constitutes an official Depreciation Assessment from the Department of Random Domain Management.

The originating file, "Is Grandma's China Worth Anything? Here's What You Can Actually Sell It For", was submitted by the Internet Content Aggregation Division.

The subject property is a complete set of mid-20th century mass-market dinnerware, colloquially known as "grandma's china".

Our appraisal indicates a current resale value of approximately one-tenth to one-fifth of the original purchase price, adjusted for inflation.

The mass-market dinnerware boom of the 1950s through 1970s saturated the market with comparable sets, drastically reducing scarcity.

Market demand is negligible for all but the rarest patterns or manufacturer marks from premium brands such as Limoges or Meissen.

No special emotional or sentimental premium is recognized in this assessment.

Owners are advised to consider alternative uses such as decorative display or donation for tax deduction, as outright sale will likely yield disappointing returns.

Respectfully submitted, Vincent "Depreciation" Hale, Senior Appraiser of Regret, Department of Random Domain Management.
